All live month.

Everything in the song must be played live.

Love the idea.

How many tracks we get with drums at that point is completely up in the air, though.

Heh, who needs drums anyway. Anyone with a decent mic can record some sort of percussion. (beatboxing? lol)

I'll bust out the coffee can drums. I'll do my best Lars Ulrich impression.

ROMhack Month - only original music from ROMhacked versions of games allowed.

Food Month - games or levels with food as a central theme (i.e. Pokémon Stadium's sushi level, Yoshi's Cookie, etc.)

Eroge Month - music from stuff like dating sims, RPGs with sexual elements, etc.

Farming Month - music from games like Harvest Moon, Innocent Life, Rune Factory, Stardew Valley, or even farm-themed areas in games (Lon-Lon Ranch, stuff like that)

Menu Month (Title Screen Month?) - music from video game or console menus or startup screens, à la GameCube startup, PSX/PS2/PS3, Metroid Prime title screen, password screens (yes I know Password Month happened)

BioWare Month - music from games developed by BioWare.

I vote that one of the next three months (September, October, or November) OR April or May of next year be GameCube Month, as the console came out in Japan on September 14th of 2001, and North America on November 18th of 2001, but also Europe and Australia on May 3rd and 17th of 2002 respectively. So like we could have a month anywhere in there to celebrate its 15th anniversary somewhere!
